Preschool Dir. & Teacher
“Hello,
My name is Christina Tull, I’ve been teaching for four years and currently serve as the Preschool Director and lead teacher for the Mountain Oak Lavender Rose Preschool. In this role, I not only teach but also help shape the overall learning environment to make sure every child and family feels welcomed and supported. I earned an Associate’s Degree from Central Arizona College, where I was a student in Early Childhood Education and Culinary Arts for many years. There I developed a solid foundation in education and child development. I also have certifications in Baking and Pastry Arts and Business. These have given me fun, hands-on methods to bring learning to life for young children and help them explore new skills in creative ways. What really excites me about teaching preschool is knowing how important these early years are for development and setting a love of learning. I work hard to create a warm, welcoming classroom where kids feel safe to be curious, ask questions, and try new things. I want each child to know they are valued and capable of amazing things.I believe that early childhood should be a time filled with wonder, creativity, and gentle guidance. In our classroom, we sing, bake, explore nature, tell stories, and move through the day with consistent rhythms that help children feel secure and engaged. I love creating fun lesson plans that fit each child’s unique needs and learning style, so every little one can feel confident as they grow. Whether it’s through hands-on activities or play, I’m passionate about helping children develop academically, socially, and emotionally. My teaching philosophy is simple: every child deserves to be seen, heard, and supported. I believe in building strong relationships with my students and their families, so we can work together to help each child thrive. It’s all about nurturing the whole child—helping them grow in all the ways that matter most.”
